A: Yes, Startblocker can be added to any existing system in the vehicle, as long as it has negative or positive trigger control output.
Q: Will Startblocker drain my battery if the car is not being used for long period of time?
A: The short answer is No. Startblocker is designed in a way to be safe and drain very little power when it's activated and the car is disabled. Even then, it drains only 2 - 8 mA, which is much less than the normal quiescent current any car is drawing in its Sleep Mode. The rest of the time Startblocker is in Sleep Mode and the current it drains is so low, it's hard to even measure it.
Q: Will Startblocker cause a Check Engine light to appear after disabling the vehicle?
A: No. Startblocker is designed around safety of the vehicle. It will not cause any warning lights to appear, nor it will save any trouble codes in the computers of the car.
Q: Can the car stall or shut itself off while on the road after installing Startblocker?
A: Startblocker is designed to not engage the Disable Mode when the car is running or the Ignition is On. If the car is running or the Ignition is On, the Disable command will be automatically executed only after the car is being shut off. For certain cars with more sensitive electronics it was designed to only activate itself once the car is off and locked. On top of all that, it has a fale-safe mechanism, preventing dangerous situations if a failure occur in the controlling device or wires get disconnected. However, there is a chance of the device being installed incorrectly and causing problems with starting or other intermittent problems, therefore installation by an experienced professional is highly recommended.
