Compatible with second generation Panamera, 2016-2019 model years.

This is not a stand-alone device. Must be connected to and controlled by a GPS tracker,  immobilizer,  breathalyzer,  car security system or similar, with positive or negative output trigger. It will prevent the vehicle from starting once triggered. Applications include: fleet management, rental car, anti-theft, etc.

It disables the ignition system, not the starter only, making it tamper-proof and delivering high security. Reduces significantly the installation complexity and increases significantly the reliability.

The device's wire colors match the color of the corresponding wires in the vehicle.

Detailed installation instructions with pictures.

Pre-made harness for easy installation available.

Compatible with positive and negative trigger output control devices.

Digital input, designed specifically to read CAN bus communication of Porsche cars.

Status indication (optional) matching the colors of the Italian flag.

Zero surges, back EMF or spikes while operating. No need for transient suppression, clamping, etc. to drive the device, unlike driving a relay.

Small footprint - only 1/3 the size of a commonly used relays.

Extremely durable.

Extremely small power consumption (10% of that of a conventional relay), waterproof, can withstand extreme temperatures and pressure, friction-proof insulation on all wires with braided tubing, ESD protection on all inputs and outputs, high input impedance, reverse polarity protection,  galvanically insulated outputs, built with premium automotive grade components from US, Japanese and German companies only (NXP, TE Connectivity, Infenion, ON-Semicon, Panasonic,  Kemet, Rohm, Vishay).

Made in New York, USA

Lifetime warranty

Fast and free shipping (US only)

Indicators:

- Green indicator On: Start Disable requested.

- Blue indicator On: Vehicle is running or in motion.

-Red indicator On:  Start is Disabled

Attention!
For safety reasons Start Disabling will not be executed until the device senses the vehicle is stationary, engine is OFF and then a safety timer times out.

WHY STARTBLOCKER

Just 5 years ago, installing a device to immobilize any vehicle was down to interrupting a single analog starter wire with the external or built-in relay of any car alarm, GPS tracker or a Breathalyzer. Today, over 50% of the new cars sold on the market come with Push-to-start (PTS) button instead of a key with blade which you need to insert and turn to start. Majority of the newer vehicles are equipped with immobilizer systems to prevent theft. The PTS vehicles use radio frequencies to authenticate the car key, alternatively a RFID transponder if the key battery is depleted and emergency start is required. All those systems responsible for the key authentification are usually spread around the vehicle in a hard to reach locations and use high speed data signals over CAN network instead of analog signals to communicate. Interrupting any of those data lines to prevent a car from starting is a terrible idea, very likely to cause a very expensive visit to the dealer due to failure of electronic modules, or even a car accident. Alternatively,  installers often interrupt the brake signal to prevent starting, which not only disables the brake light, causing a safety hazard and potentially accident, also is illegal. Furthermore,  the brake signal is used in many cars to trigger the ESP and/or ABS system,  causing even greater danger for the passengers, nearby drivers and pedestrians. In other cases, installers of forementioned devices are often forced to run wires to the engine compartment through the firewall, in order to interrupt the starter. That's usually accomplished by drilling holes in the metal firewall or rubber grommets and bushings, causing leaks, potential short between wires and ultimately voiding the warranty, also very expensive repairs. In addition, it's very time consuming.

Today we have STARTBLOCKER and it's now easy to accomplish it fast and safely.
